Hello,  I'm your counselor, Mrs. Kathy Gevedon

I am now in my fifth year as the Tri-County North Middle School Counselor.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle School Education, from Kentucky Christian University, and a Master's degree from Morehead State University in School Counseling. While living in Kentucky, I worked in a variety of jobs that required me to do case management and social work. Then, I taught Language Arts and Social Studies for 11 years, but I had a growing interest in helping students with many of the issues that makes middle school one of the toughest times in a person's life. Counseling has allowed me to use skills, from all my past experiences, to assist the students here at Tri-County North.
