FOUR:  Use different ratios of food coloring drops to make the best purple or the best green.  Start with a multi cell tray and systematically try different ratios, record your data and photograph your results.

FOUR:  Homework:  What's the best ratio of sugar for Koolaid?  How much sugar is really needed  2 cups per package?  Design an experiment and report your data to the class.

FOUR: PROJECT:  Which is the best ratio for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

FIVE:
Choose the pictorial ratios that are equal:  practice on 6 screens then progress to quiz and show the score to the teacher online.

FIVE:  Use physical objects or Smartboard objects ( math dinos, buttons, erasers) to model ratios and proportions:  If you start with 3 bunny eraser to 7 chick erasers if you double the bunnies how many chicks will you need to keep the ratios equal? Can you just double both?  Will the same thing work if you quadruple both?  Try it. What happens if you just add 2 more bunnies, can you just add 2 more chicks and keep the proportion equal?
