ATTENDANCE

It's important that your child attend school. The Board requires that school-aged students enrolled in district schools attend school regularly, in accordance with state laws. The educational program offered by this district is predicated upon the presence of the student and requires continuity of instruction and classroom participation in order for students to achieve academic standards and consistent educational progress.

Attendance shall be required of all students enrolled in district schools during the days and hours that school is in session, except that a principal or attendance secretary may excuse a student for school related event, temporary absences when receiving satisfactory evidence of mental, physical, or other urgent conditions that may reasonably cause the student's absence.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Please contact the school if your child is not coming to school. I need the child's name, grade and reason out. Send a parent note in when your child comes back with the same information on it. Doctor notes also need: Child's name, date of service, and dates to be out, and Doctor Signature. You can also send a note in ahead of time for a early release so that we are prepared for your child's departure.  Anytime your child is visiting a Doctor , request a note for the absence. I can accept those at anytime of the year.
